QUEENS, NY - January 20, 2008, Yves Marie Danie Baptiste,
freelance writer and founder of www.DogsDontDrinkCoffee.com, is
sponsoring a day of free haircuts and free gourmet lunch for children
without homes on Monday, January 21st. Queens barbers and restaurant chefs
will be welcoming the children with open arms to pay tribute in honoring
the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, who lived by the rule of
doing good unto others.

When asked what motivated her to organize this community effort,
Yves Marie Danie Baptiste replied, "I wanted to do my part in
igniting the spark in the hearts of people everywhere in
remembering that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday is not a day
off but a day on. A day to meet the needs of those around us who
are less fortunate - a day of unity. Because Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr., lived a life of serving other people…what better way
to emulate his actions by reaching out to kids without homes who
don't have much at all. I believe Dr. King would be proud of the
small businesses that are giving back to the community in this
way."
